Annunziata Hospital, Chieti, Italy. Prof. Maggiore’s professional career has been involved in several research programs focusing on acute respiratory failure, respiratory mechanics, invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support, the cardiovascular effects of mechanical ventilation, and ethics in intensive care.
